Advocacy for families (Wheatland and Farrell) enrolled in program
Education - parent educators work with families to help parents become
more effective parents. Each family receives 1 home visit/month and we
hope to increase the skills families need pertaining to parenting skills,
child development, discipline methods, which will help their child get
ready for school
Information and Referral - for their families
In-Home Services - 4 parent educators - caseload 25 families/year. 1 1/2
hours monthly personal home visit. Focus on families with children 0 - 3
yrs.
Toy Lending Library
Group meeting - once a month periodic screening to ensure children have
no undetected learning disability
Farrell Area School District including Wheatland
Referrals needed
Farrell/Wheatland residents - none
