Mercer County Court Rules Preface

The Rules of the Court of Common Pleas of Mercer County are intended to supplement the Rules of Civil Procedure promulgated by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. The latter's system of numbering has been preserved. Each local rule dealing with the same subject matter as one of the Rules of Civil Procedure has been given the same number. All local rules are preceded by the letter "L" to indicate their local character. All local rules must be read in connection with the Rules of Civil Procedure bearing the same numbers.

AND NOW, on this 24th day of October, 1990, this Court hereby revokes Local Rule L1910.65 in that Pennsylvania Rule of Civil Procedure 1910.16-l(a) requires the application of the Tables. Pursuant to Rule 1910.16-2, Mercer County Local Rule of Court L1915.65 is withdrawn;

And this Court does adopt the following Local Rules of Civil Procedure: Rule L1915.3, Rule L1915.26, Rule L1915.27, Rule L1920.51, Rule L1920.53, Rule L1920.54, and Rule L1920.55.

IN RE:

REVISION, RESTATEMENT AND ADDITION AS TO THE RULES OF COURT FOR THE COURT OF COMMON PLEAS OF MERCER COUNTY

AND NOW, on this 27th day of May, 1987, the Court hereby approves, adopts and promulgates as part of the Rules of Court of the Court of Common Pleas of Mercer County, to be effective thirty (30) days following after the date of publication of the Rules in The Pennsylvania Bulletin pursuant to Pa. R.C.P. 239(d).

The Local Rules shall be kept continuously available for public inspection and copying in the Office of the Prothonotary. Upon request and payment of reasonable costs of reproduction and mailing, the Prothonotary shall furnish to any person a copy of the Local Rules. The Local Rules shall become applicable to all pending cases following thirty (30) days after the date of publication of the Rules in The Pennsylvania Bulletin.
