SERVICES PROVIDED:
- Disaster Services - Preplanning; responding to and recovery from all
disasters such as floods, tornados, snow storms, hazardous materials, spills,
etc.
- Food Banks - Lead agency for surplus food program under USDA program, for
state set- aside foundation to be used to purchase food for needy. Food
obtained and distributed to 33 food banks thru Shenango Valley Food Warehouse.
- Housing Assistance - Funding for PA State Emergency Shelter Assistance to
Salvation Army (short-term up to 1-2 weeks) and long term (Shenango Valley Urban
League) for 30 days.

- Education - presentation and classes in First Aid training, CPR, Swimming,
Lifeguard
- AIDS Education - printed information available, community classes on
awareness available upon request
- Blood - self donations and directed donations as prescribed for
anticipated surgery, other resources through regional blood center
