Columbia Theatre believes everyone should have opportunities to experience the arts -- as learners, as makers of art, as audience members. Through our Education and Access Programs Columbia Theatre expands opportunities for educational experiences in the arts and helps to make the arts available to all who want to participate. Education and Access Programs include:
New Audience Outreach
Offering socially or economically disadvantaged children the opportunity to experience the magic of live theatre.
Sign Language Interpreters
Accommodate the needs of the hearing impaired at Young Audience Series.
First Stage Productions
Take neighborhood-based live theatre productions to children who have little parental support or resources.
Educational workshops and classes
Offered throughout the year, making it possible to everyone to participate and enjoy.
