Growing over a fourteen year period from a grass roots all volunteer organization dedicated to preserving a community landmark building, today the Columbia Theatre is a 501(c) (3) corporation, chartered in the state of Pennsylvania, providing performing arts productions, arts education and advovavy to children and adults in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio.

As the planning and restoration work continues on the theatre facility, Columbia Theatre, Inc. offers a full season of live theatre productions for children and adults as well as educational classes and performance opportunities.

When the renovation is complete, the result will be a beautiful multi-purpose perfoming arts center that will provide enhanced opportunities for artistic development, and make a positive controbution to the county's economic development.

For today and for tommorow, Columbia Theatre, Inc. is an important community institution enhancing the quality of life for all those who value the creativity and beauty of the performing arts.
